I’m delighted to be part of a panel for Art in the Time of Unbearable Crisis: Women Writers Respond. This new anthology is a compilation of essays, poetry, and art by women writers in response to cataclysmic events of the last few years. Writing about the pandemic, Ukraine, societal unrest and more, the book explores how we can find beauty and hope – even when the world feels inside-out or upside-down. All proceeds earned are going to the work of chef José Andrés’s nonprofit World Central Kitchen, and their Ukrainian relief efforts. She Writes Press publisher Brooke Warner will moderate the event.
